Nevada - Asher Lewis Greene, 7 weeks old, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Asher is survived by his parents, Amos and Rachel Greene of Nevada; his three older brothers Adam, Aaron, and Andrew; his grandparents Kip and Shari Hamby of Bettendorf and Bruce and Nancy Greene of Randall; his great-grandma, Marilyn Wooldridge of Ames; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and family. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21 at Christ Community Church, 5501 George Washington Carver Avenue in Ames. Burial will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greene family. Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
