MAXWELL - Dennis Davis, 52, of Maxwell died Saturday, February 4, 2006 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Dennis was born December 15, 1953 at Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Marvin and Kathryn (Shull) Davis. Dennis served in the Army. He was united in marriage to Janet Beyer on May 26, 1982 in Williamsburg, Iowa. Dennis was a driver for Carquest in Ankeny. Dennis enjoyed motorcycles and cycling and was a member of the Suzuki Cavalcade Club. He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Maxwell; 2 daughters: Melissa Sholtus of Ladora, Iowa, Jennifer Davis of Maxwell; his parents: Marvin and Kathryn Davis of Ladora; a sister: Debra McMann of Marengo; and his maternal grandmother, Rose Shull of Marengo. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandfathers and grandmother. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be 1:30 pm Thursday in the Ohio Cemetery near Ladora. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. The Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is in charge of arrangements.
