ANKENY - Eva Leoa Link went to be with the Lord June 7, 2004. She was born March 2, 1909 in Jasper County, Iowa the daughter of Thomas and Levenia (Backous) Duesbury. Eva was united in marriage to Albert Link on July 13, 1929 in Des Moines. She was a wife and partner with her husband in farming. Albert preceded her in death March 24, 1999. She attended school in Collins, Iowa where she graduated with Class of 1928. Eva was a lifetime member of the Peoria United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher and pianist for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society and an avid quilter. Eva is survived by one sister, Minnie Cummings, of Maxwell; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents; her husband; two brothers: Henry and William; and a sister, Elizabeth Davis preceded her in death.
