Jesse Washington, 57, of Nevada, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Jesse was born November 10, 1953, in Mississippi and moved to Florida, then Milwaukee where he graduated high school. He then moved to Marshalltown to attend college and play football. Following Marshalltown, Jesse moved to Nevada and worked for Donnelly's as a machine operator for 10 years. Following that, he worked four and a half years for Burke Marketing. Jesse's working ended when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He was very well cared for at Rolling Green Village. Jesse is survived by his good friend, Art Cruz. A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
