Joseph "Joe" Dean Barker, 60, of Nevada passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, at his home in Nevada. Joe was born September 22, 1955, the son of Walter and Nadine (Campbell) Barker. On March 25, 1972, he was united in marriage to Rylo Taylor in Nevada. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 until his honorable discharge in 1978. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, camping and stock car racing. Joe is survived by his wife, Rylo of Nevada; his son, Jeremy (Jodi) Barker of Nevada; his daughter, Melisa Barker of Nevada; his brother, Doug Barker of Carlisle; his sister, Linda Barker of Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Jacob and Ross Barker and Chase Hellyer and Dillon Duarte. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great-niece, Morgan Grey. Joe has been cremated and a visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, October 5 at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
