John Ray King, 60 of Cambridge, formerly of Kansas City, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. John was born June 24, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Earl and Ruby King. On July 27, 2015, he was united in marriage to Robin Rush in Kansas City. John is survived by his wife, Robin of Cambridge; his daughter, Briana (Joe) Garton of Hale, MO; brothers: Earl (Rhonda) King and Jimmy King both of Kansas City; his sisters: Conny (Jack) Hockett of Warsaw, MO, Patsy (Tom) McMunn and Sandra (John) Darling both of Kansas City, MO; and two grandchildren: Wake and Saylor Garton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 15 at Center Grove Cemetery near Cambridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of John. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
