JulieAnn Marie Ulrich, 38, of Nevada, died at her home Thursday, January 28, 2010. Julie was born April 7, 1971 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of David and Carolyn (Davis) Strickland. She graduated from Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy and attended Faith Bible College in Ankeny. She was united in marriage to Luke Ulrich on October 26, 1991 in Waterloo. Julie enjoyed teaching piano. She was a member of the Nevada Baptist Church. Julie loved her children and family. Julie is survived by her husband, Luke, of Nevada, Iowa; her three children: Harrison, Levi and Lauren, all of home; her father and mother, David and Carolyn Strickland of Nevada, Iowa; and a brother and sister-in-law: David and Mercy Strickland of Waterloo, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Nevada Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Memorials may be made to the Nevada Baptist Church Playground Fund.
