Mary Vallandingham, 64, of Sigourney died Monday, June 13, 2005 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Mar was born August 29, 1940 in Centerville, Iowa the daughter of Virgil and Hazel Law. She was raised in Maxwell. Mary was united in marriage to Jack Vallandingham on November 4, 1959 in Galesburg, Illinois. She had worked as a bookkeeper with her husband at his pharmacy, The Corner Drug Store in Sigourney. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Keswick, Iowa. Mary enjoyed crossword puzzles, her church, her kids and grandkids.
Mary is survived by her husband, Jack, of Sigourney; her children: John (Karen) Vallandingham of Burlington, Adam (Denise) Vallandingham of Bondurant, Mollie (Travis) Klemp of Fort Dodge, Jenny (Jon) Lutz of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and two brothers: Ted Law of Perry and Jerry Law of Maxwell.
Mary's parents and her sister, Jackie Lehrkamp, preceded her in death.
