KALAHEO, KAUAI, HAWAII - Mathew R. Chandler, 84, of Kalaheo, Hawaii, died at his home November 30, 2005. He was born January 29, 1921 in Newington, Connecticut. He was a decorated WWII Veteran and a retired business owner of Dry Cleaning Plants. He is survived by his wife, Betty Chandler of Kalaheo, Hawaii; 4 daughters: Holli Traeumer of Fairfax, Virginia, Margaret Traeumer of Daly City, California, Nancy Chandler and Susan Chandler both of Connecticut; three sisters: Helen (James) Cunningham of Oregon, Harriet Tobits of California and Birdie Bezursik of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents; a brother, Stephen Chandler; and a sister, Estelle Noyes, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Maxwell Cemetery. Bacon Funeral Home of Maxwell is handling arrangement.
