Morris E. Sargent, 76, died December 17, 2008, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada, Iowa. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Loring United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 21st at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Merle was born October 26, 1932, the son of Clarence A. and Ida V. (Yoder) Sargent. He received his education at the Story County Development Center, Ames and Easter Seal Training, Des Moines. He loved children and enjoyed music, especially Country and Gospel. He is survived by a sister, Elva Denton of Maxwell, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: his twin brother, Merle F. Sargent on September 11, 2008, Clarence, Leroy and Willard; one sister: Ruth Haines. Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
