COLO - Paula Louise Brown, 53, died June19, 2007 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 27, 2007, 2:00 pm at the Collins Christian Church in Collins with Rev. Scott Jones officiating. Paula was born June 11, 1954 in Des Moines, IA to parents Roscoe & Betty (Hennen) Babberl. She attended high school in Madrid and graduated in 1972. She married Daniel Brown on May 12, 1990 in Nevada. She graduated from DMACC in nursing and worked at the Veteran's Home in Marshalltown. Paula played several instruments and loved to play music for Senior Citizens. She always enjoyed helping others. Survivors include her step-father, Harold Holmes and mother, Betty of Boone; husband, Daniel of Colo; daughters: Jamie Ludwick, Nevada and Rebecca Ludwick of Colo, sisters: Betty and Laura Babberl of Boone, a sister-in-law Brenda Babberl of Boone, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Her father, Roscoe, her brother, Tom Babberl and her grandmother, "Torch" preceded her in death. Contributions may be sent to Story County Medical Center Foundation, 630 6th Street, Nevada, IA 50201.
