Steven Schmidt, 68, of Ames, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the Abington on Grand Nursing Home in Ames.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames. Inurnment will follow.
Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
