Allen Stokesbary, 80 of Nevada, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Zearing Health Care Center in Zearing.

Allen was born June 22, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Ralph and Golda (Effie) Stokesbary. He was united in marriage to Dianna Smith on June 22, 1979 in Collins. Allen enjoyed playing bingo, listening to music, and listening to his reel to reels. He loved to watch old westerns, especially those with John Wayne.

Allen is survived by his wife, Dianna of Ames; his children: Paul Stokesbary, Robin (Bruce) Hill, Robert Stokesbary, Scott Earles, Ron (Chandra) Stokesbary, Don (Lori) Stokesbary, Landon (Jenny) Earles and Brandi Stokesbary (Tom); his siblings: Carroll Stokesbary, Virginia Walker, Joe Stokesbary, David (Marla) Stokesbary, Doug (Paula) Stokesbary and Donna (Dick) Kahler; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenny, and his sisters: Frances, Eva, Kathryn, and Patty.
