Anna Pauline Seversike, 95, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Anna was born April 25, 1921, in Cambridge to Glenn and Beulah (Dunahoo) White. She grew up in Story County and after graduating from Colo High School, she attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. Anna worked as a classroom teacher for many years. Anna was united in marriage to Richard B. Seversike on October 4, 1947, at the Nevada First United Methodist Church. Together they made their home on the family farm near Cambridge. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2006; her parents; her sisters: Mildred and Katie; her brother Floyd and two sons: Tom in 1982 and Don in 1989. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cambridge First Responders. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
