Becky Ann Ogden, 69 of Nevada, died Sunday, April 18, 2021, at her home in Nevada. Becky was born June 26, 1951, in Oskaloosa, IA the daughter of LeRoy David and Mary Elizabeth (Stratton) Johnson. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1969 and was united in marriage to Steven John Ogden on July 24, 1971, in Oskaloosa. Becky worked 26 years for JC Penney's and 16 years for Earl May. Becky was active with Girl Scouts and enjoyed gardening. She had a very extensive collection of owls and snowmen. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Becky is survived by her husband, Steve of Nevada; her son, John Ogden of Nevada; her daughter, Nicole Schomaker of Nevada; her grandchildren: Sam, Emily, and Conner Schomaker; her sisters, Carol (Bob) Barnes of Oskaloosa and Sandy Guthrie of Alma, NE; and her brother, Michael (Linda) Johnson of Milton, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margaret Chillcote; and a brother, Bernard Johnson. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24 at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home.
