Bette Lucille Soll, 90, of Nevada, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Bette was born September 11, 1927, in Sigourney, Iowa the daughter of August and Flossie Sievers. She graduated from Sigourney High School and was united in marriage to Donovan Neil Soll on July 22, 1949, in Murray. Bette worked for GFS in Nevada and enjoyed sewing and quilting, cooking, flowers and playing cards. She also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and Texas and supporting her grandchildren in all their activities. Bette is survived by her son, Kendall (Dana) Soll of Nevada; her daughter, Markay Soll of West Des Moines; her grandchildren: Jessie Wycoff, Kelli Soll and Jacob (Christie) Soll; and two great-grandchildren: Silas and Stella Soll. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Elmer Slenker; her husband; a son Gregory in infancy; three brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14 at the Murray Cemetery in Murray. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
