Betty Jean Farrington, 88, of Nevada, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17 at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. A eulogy will be given at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center. Betty was born January 1, 1931, in Guthrie Center, Iowa the daughter of George and Emma (Norris) Lynch. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Farrington on December 24, 1947, in Lebanon, Missouri. Betty is survived by her grandchildren: Rebecca Gamble, Tammy Elliott and Adam (Kristin) Cox; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
