DAYTON - Brad Lee Kahler, 47, of Dayton, died May 4, 2006 at his home. Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Monday, May 8th, at the Cambridge United Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation with the family will be at the Dorcas Hall in Cambridge following the Memorial Service. Brad was born February 21, 1959 in Des Moines, the son of Raymond "Bud" and Phyllis (McHone) Kahler. Brad was a musician and had played in many places throughout the country. He is survived by his wife, Lori, of Dayton; a stepson: Jerry "Clyde" (Stephanie) Cunningham of Boone; a stepdaughter: Loretta Cunningham of Maxwell; 2 grandchildren: Camron Cunningham and Trevor Hammer; his mother: Phyllis Kahler of Cambridge; a sister: Dixie Minear of Maxwell; and a brother: Kreg Kahler of Slater. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brad Lee Kahler Memorial fund. Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
