Bruce L. Page, 72 of Nevada, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at his home in Nevada.
Bruce was born in Ames, Iowa on January 5, 1949, the son of Fred L. and Jean Lois (Cook) Page. He graduated from United Community High School in 1967 and was drafted into the Air Force serving until his honorable discharge in 1971. He then served in the Air Force Reserves from 1979-1985. Bruce worked 37 years for the Iowa DOT in Project Planning. On April 26, 2003, he was united in marriage to Connie Manternach Baker at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada.
Bruce was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Nevada. He had a passion for music, especially Rock and Roll. He was very talented and taught himself to play the guitar, drums and piano. Bruce enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching baseball, and driving his MGB convertible. He also enjoyed restoring old tractors.
Bruce, a loving husband, father and grandfather, is survived by his wife, Connie of Nevada; his daughters: Timothea Page of State Center, Antonia (Michael) Harding of Springville and Jocelyn (Gerardo Jr.) Banda of Hubert, NC; his grandchildren: Tyler Legg, Briana Rahn, Caitlin Rahn, Jordan Banda, Gerardo Banda III, Grayson Banda and Tayten Trail; his brother, Patrick (Lu Ann) Page of Nevada; and his Pomeranian, BeeZee. He was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Michaela Rahn; and his Pomeranian, Dexter.
A visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1110 11th Street) in Nevada with Father Dagit officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa.
