Carlis "Carl" Huff, 89, of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at his home in Nevada. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Rasmusson Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada with Pastor David Lincoln officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada. Carl was born August 17, 1929, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of William Thomas and Rebecca Jane (Howard) Huff. On August 24, 1948, he was united in marriage to Stella Louise Watkins. Carl worked as a carpenter and retired from Ramada Inn. He was a member of the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed woodworking, feeding birds, tending his roses and gardening. Carl is survived by his children: John Huff of Edmore, MI, Sharon (Keith) Hunt of Edmore, MI and Linda (Jon) Carleton of Colo; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Scott Huff; his daughter, Brenda Combs; his grandson, James Hunt; three brothers and two sisters.
