MAXWELL - Carol I. Pritchard, 76, of Maxwell, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Story County Medical Center. Carol was born October 14, 1931 in Maxwell, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Ethel (Cleverley) Robertson. She was united in marriage to William Flavius Pritchard on August 7, 1951 in Maxwell. He preceded her in death June 8, 1991. Carol had worked as a secretary for the Juvenile Probation Office in Ames and retired in 2006. She was a member of the Maxwell Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter: Nancy C. Golly of Maxwell; two sons and daughters-in-law: Randy and Julie Pritchard of Maxwell, Bob and Chris Pritchard of Maxwell; 9 grandchildren: Ashley Golly, Alex Golly, Lisa Horn, Buddy Pritchard, Megan Pritchard, Danielle Pritchard, Nicole Pritchard,Brynne Pritchard, and Maggie Pritchard; and 2 sisters: Her twin sister, Coral Myers of Maxwell, and Donna Anderson of Phoenix, AZ. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother: Lowell Robertson; and a sister: Lois Pyle. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Thursday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Visitation will be 6:30 - 8:00 PM Wednesday with a Prayer Service at 8:00 PM at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery at Iowa Center, Iowa.
