Charles David Winters Jr., 67, of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Charles was born October 29, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles Sr. and Violet (Bell) Winters. He graduated from East High and served in the United States Navy. Charles was a truck driver and enjoyed motorcycles and collecting eagles. Charles has been cremated and no services are planned. He will be laid to rest in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter. Bacon Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Nevada are handling arrangements.
