Christine Lynn Rasmussen, 65 of Nevada, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa, with her loving family by her side.

Christine was born on July 18,1959, to William "Bill" and Gale (Watts) Hull in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Leroy Rasmussen on August 23, 1980. Christine graduated from Boone High School in 1977 and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix, a milestone she was extremely proud of. After graduation, she worked in Human Resources for Amcor. Christine's passions included reading books and watching cooking shows, often sharing her own unique takes on the recipes.

Christine loved her family very deeply and found great joy in being a grandmother to Mara. Wherever you found Christine, her faithful dachshunds were by her side.

Christine is survived by her loving husband Leroy; two sons, Ryan (Kasee) Rasmussen and Reed Rasmussen, one very special granddaughter Mara; and her sister, Vicky (Tim) Lonergan.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents.

Christine has been cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
