Clarence "Mitch" Mitchell, 81 of Nevada, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Clarence was born June 21, 1940, in Howard County, Iowa to Everett and Euphamie (Frank) Mitchell. On June 10, 1961, he was united in marriage to Virginia Carol Luing at the Collins Christian Church in Collins. Virginia passed away February 7, 2019. Clarence was a truck driver for Ryerson Implement in Nevada and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clarence is survived by his sons: Tony Mitchell of Nevada, Jeffrey (Trish) Mitchell of Nevada and Scott Mitchell of Rockford, IL; his grandchildren: Shelby (Lenae) Mitchell, MadaLinn Mitchell, Ross Mitchell, Paiten Mitchell, Cassandra Wray and Aaron Wray; his great-grandchildren: Brogan Bennett, Bryson Bennett, Thayer Mitchell and Collins Mitchell; his brothers, Harold (Viola) Mitchell of Nevada, Chester (Robin) Mitchell of Nevada and Frank (Nora) Mitchell of Nevada; and his sister, Evelyn Jacobson of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brothers, Robert and Elmer Mitchell; and his sister, Marjorie Whitehead. Clarence has been cremated and no services are planned.
