Claudia June Biddle, 80, of Ames passed away at Israel Hospice House on November 15, 2021. Claudia was born to Alan Wayne (Buck) Cade and Fay Ada (Yoder) Cade on June 16, 1941. She was baptized and confirmed at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Des Moines, Iowa. Claudia attended school in Maxwell, Iowa. She loved to learn and shared her love of learning with many.
Claudia was married to the love of her life, Paul DeWayne Biddle on February 28, 1957. They made their home in Colo, Iowa where they raised three children, Adanga, Jeffery and Jeannine Biddle. Paul passed away on November 5, 2016. He was a devoted husband and father. In 1986 Paul and Claudia moved to Nevada, Iowa.
Claudia was a homemaker until 1971 when she went to work for RH Donnelly in Nevada, Iowa, where she was a data base analyst until she retired in 2004. Claudia's faith and family were central to her life. Claudia enjoyed spending time with her family and loved baking and cooking for others and sharing her brand of "love". She enjoyed her family, friends, and church family. Claudia was an avid knitter and made many blankets, booties, and baptismal gowns as well as sweaters, caftans, and slippers for those she knew and loved. She loved singing and reading. Claudia sang in the choir in her younger years and loved reading all types of books, but her specialty was devouring anything faith based. Her knowledge of the Bible and memorized scripture was impressive. Claudia was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Ames, Iowa for many years.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul: and her brother Charles Cade.
Claudia is survived by her children, Adanga Biddle-Roush (Michael Roush), Jeffery Biddle and Jeannine Biddle, all of Ames, Iowa, a sister Phyllis Delaney of Harrisonville, Missouri and adopted daughter #3 Peggy Ball of Portland Oregon.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
