NEVADA - Dale D. Prescott, 91, died August 23, 2007 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. He was born in Popejoy, Iowa on June 18, 1916 to Miles L. & Emma A. (VanGundy) Prescott. Dale was married to Marjorie (Cooper) Prescott on May 21, 1938, in Nevada. She preceded him in death on November 13, 2003. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Joan (Kermit) Lenning; 2 brothers-in-law: Robert (Maxine) Cooper and Virgil Brooks both of Nevada; and several nieces & nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; a son, Stuart at birth; one brother, Virgil Cole and one sister, Hope Cox. Services will be at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Bacon Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangement.
