Daniel Ross Hawbaker, 76 of Edmond, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dan was born January 12, 1945, in Des Moines, the son of Carl Albert and Adra Charlene (Reynolds) Hawbaker. He graduated from Adel High School in 1963 and from Mercy College in 1965. On April 4, 1970, Dan was united in marriage to Connie Rae Bowers, at Epworth United Methodist Church in Des Moines. He worked as a Radiology Tech at the Veteran's Hospital. Dan is survived by his brothers: Arnold Hawbaker of Las Vegas, NV and A. Craig (Peggy) Hawbaker of Woodbridge, CA; his nieces: Maria Hawbaker and Michelle (Shane) Craven, Tracy Pohlman and Tammy (Harry) Field; his nephew, Mark (Lauren) Hawbaker; his sister-in-law, Karol Waterhouse; four great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Peoria Cemetery near Maxwell.
