NEVADA-Danny Joe Harper, 49, of Nevada, died Monday, July 24, 2006 at Nevada. Danny Joe was born March 22, 1957 in Waco, Texas, the son of Tommy and Billy Lou (Goforth) Harper. On August 11, 1984, Danny married Connie Weatherman and to this union a son, Joshua, and a daughter, Sara, were born. Danny and Connie were later divorced. Danny was an avid reader. He belonged to the Texas Indian Hobby Association and enjoyed doing beadwork through the Association. Danny had earned his Eagle Scout Award and for 5 years was a Den Leader for the Huxley Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He is survived by his special friend, Janet Michelsen of Nevada; son, Joshua Harper, and daughter, Sara Harper, both of Cambridge; his parents, Tommy and Billy Lou Harper and a brother, Tommy Harper, all of Waco, Texas. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Bacon Funeral Home & Crematory in Nevada with Pastor David Burling officiating.
