David Wayne Evans, 62 of Nevada, died Friday, May 6, 2022. David was born January 7, 1960, in Webster City, the son of Gerald and Betty (LaMar) Evans. He graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. David owned Evans Roofing and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. David is survived by his former partner: Cindy Evans; his children: Lisa (Kirk) Wiley, Darrell "DJ" (Stacey) Parker, Dawn Whiteman, Lucas Schnurr, Megan (Gerald) Murphy, April Evans and Danielle (Kevin) Hall; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Tim (Heidi) Evans, Bernie (Kristi) Evans, Rich (Dee) Evans, Rob (Donna) Evans, Ron (Carole) Evans, Ken (Rhonda) Evans, Wilma Evans, Nina (Allen) Baumgartner and Carl (Rose) Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Jim Evans, Ada Colleen Jeno and Gary Evans. A celebration of David's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1110 11th Street) in Nevada. Following the service, everyone is invited to join the family at St. Patrick's fellowship hall for a luncheon. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Derby Cemetery in Albia, Iowa.
