David Lawrence Marcomb, 64, of Radcliffe, Iowa, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. David was born February16, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Dawn (Lawrence) Marcomb. He was united in marriage to Anna Rhoads on February 7, 1976 in Lake Villa, Illinois. David enjoyed working on construction jobs until his health caused him to retire. David loved his family and a good visit. He also enjoyed fishing, reading, crossword puzzles, music, a "good Sunday Drive", and listening to WHO Radio. David is survived by his wife, Anna Marcomb of Cambridge, Iowa; three sons: David Howard Marcomb of Wisconsin, Harold (Val) Marcomb of Radcliffe, Iowa, Aaron (Monica) Marcomb of Ames, Iowa; three daughters: Tammy (Allen) of Hubbard, Iowa, Trisha (Jacob) Bertrand of Huxley, Iowa, Tracy (Evan) Jones of Cambridge, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; two brothers: William (Karen) Marcomb of McHenry, Illinois, Frank (Melisa) Marcomb of Fox Lake, Illinois; two sisters: Janice (Roger) O' Dell of Rock Creek, Ohio, Barbara Pike of Chanhassen, Minnesota; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Rhoads. David was preceded in death by his parents; and Honorary granddaughter: Allie-Jo; and a brother, Charles Marcomb. Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM. Interment will be in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery in Collins, Iowa. Following the graveside service, there will a time of refreshment and fellowship at the Collins Community Center.
