David W. Valentine passed away recently at his home in Nevada.

Dave was a lifelong resident of Iowa. He was born in Cambridge, attended Ballard High School, and worked as a General Manager at GFS in Nevada.

Dave was a devoted member of the Nevada Baptist Church. He was a devoted family man who loved his children and was actively involved in their lives. Dave will be remembered for his honesty, generosity, and his quiet nature.

Dave is survived by his wife, two sons, three daughters, three step-daughters, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Nevada Baptist Church in Nevada, officiated by Pastor Dennis Reynolds. A fellowship luncheon will follow the service at the church. A private family burial will take place at the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in Dave's memory.
