Dawn Marie Baldus, 68 of Nevada, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Dawn was born November 29, 1949, in Duluth, Minnesota to Donald Warren and Elizabeth June (Carter) Kluck. She graduated from Ames High School in 1967 and was united in marriage to Raymond Baldus on January 3, 1970, in Ames. Dawn enjoyed arts and crafts, attending book club, and being a pen pal to students at Colo-NESCO. Dawn is survived by her son, Warren Baldus of Nevada; her daughter, Jennifer Cozad of Colo, her brother, Lenard Kluck of Ames; her sisters: Cynthia Cass of Aurora, Colorado and Nancy Kluck of Chandler, Arizona; her grandchildren: Toni Millslagle, Jesse Baldus, Jade Baldus and Seth Baldus; and two great-grandchildren: Michael Scott and Jack Parton. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband. Dawn has been cremated and no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Dawn.
