Dion Patrick Baker, 60, of Stratford, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. -12 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Dion was born June 11, 1958, in Leon, Iowa the son of Theodore Rex and Karen May (Bear) Baker. He attended Roland-Story High School and worked various jobs throughout his life. Dion appreciated the art quality of skulls and will be remembered for his orneriness and messing with people. Dion was a big kid at heart. Dion is survived by his children: Bradley (Julie) Baker of Boone and Melissa Baker of Boone; his former wife, Joani Lohman and her son, Kenneth Holder; his sisters: Lorrie (Eric) Hanson of Nevada and Lisa Baker of Roland; and his four grandchildren: Elliot, Hannah, Sydney and Kaylee.
