Donald Mark Dunahoo, 66 of Corning, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Montgomery County Medical Center in Red Oak. Donald was born November 24, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Donald Floyd and Barbara Pearl (Troutner) Dunahoo. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1975 and attended mechanic's training in Council Bluffs. Donald worked as a mechanic for a few years before becoming a Mac Tool sales rep. He was currently working for Michael Foods in Lennox. Donald was a member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church in Glenwood. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, camping and being outdoors. Donald also enjoyed tinkering on his hobby farm. He will be remembered for always joking around and giving his family and friends a hard time. Donald is survived by his daughter, Tracie (Lonnie) Elder of Red Oak; his brothers, Leo (Bonnie) Dunahoo of Story City and Darrell (Joyce) Dunahoo of Albany, MO; and his grandson, Moxley Elder of Red Oak. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joyce Hobson; his brother, Larry Dunahoo; and his infant daughter, Kacie Dunahoo. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church (1036 7th Street) in Nevada. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery just north of Nevada. The service will be livestreamed on the Nevada First United Methodist Church Facebook page.
