Donald Ray Schulz, 75, of Ames, formerly of Maxwell, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Don was born July 26, 1940, to Richard Lewis and Eva Loleta (Ray) Schulz. He had worked for 3M in Ames for 30 years and enjoyed garage sales, motorcycles and his truck. Don always loved to tell a story.
Don is survived by his daughter, Donn (Bob) Ott of Ft. Lee, VA; his brother, Ronald (Linda) Schulz of Collins; his sisters: Marie Schulz of Gladbrook and Nancy (Don) Lubbert of Gladbrook; his grandchildren: Kelsey Beaman, Kira Dagit and Kylie Dagit; two step-grandchildren: Natasha (Jeff) Kelley and Christian Ott; and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Johnny and Charles.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Maxwell Cemetery in Maxwell. Family will greet friends starting at 1 p.m. at the Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell until service time.
