NEVADA - Dorothy Roberta Keltner, 78, of Nevada, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Dorothy was born September 30, 1925 at Herndon, Iowa the daughter of Rufus and Josephine (Huntley) Bennink. She graduated from Panora High School in 1943. On June 10, 1950, Dorothy was united in marriage to Leonard Keltner in Des Moines, Iowa. Dorothy was a homemaker and loved cats. She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Nevada, Iowa; a son, Leonard Lee Keltner of Colo, Iowa, a granddaughter, Laura Keltner; and three brothers: Carroll Bennink of Des Moines, Iowa, Rodney Bennink of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Norman Bennink of Florida. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Ronnie and Robert. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 3:00 - 5:00 pm Sunday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa.
