Edward "Ed" B. Dooley passed away at his home in Rush City on July 30, 2024 at the age of 83.

Ed was born on February 6, 1941 to L. B. and Helen (Hansen) Dooley in Nevada, Iowa.

Ed is survived by his sons Jeff Dooley of East Bethel, Mark Dooley of Pine City; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister Judy Anderson of Ames, Iowa; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents L. B. and Helen Dooley; wife Marlene Dooley; daughter-in-law Julie Dooley.

Celebration of Ed's life: 1:00-3:00 PM; Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City, MN. Continuing Celebration of Ed's life: 4:00-8:00 PM at Grothe-Jacobson VFW in Rush City, MN.

A visitation will be 11-Noon Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada.  A graveside service will follow at Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada with Pastor David Burling officiating.
