Edwin "Ed" Reynolds, 81, of Iowa Center, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Ed was born April 3, 1936, in Woodbine, Iowa the son of Carl and Lesta (Blakely) Reynolds. He graduated from Woodbine High School and served in the United States Army. On June 29, 1973, Ed was united in marriage to Nedra Cockerham. Ed worked for GTE as a lineman retiring in 1996. He was a member of the William F. Ball Legion Post #48 in Nevada and enjoyed camping, traveling and playing cards. Ed is survived by his step-daughter, Julie Runge of Nevada; his brother, Wendell (Kay) Reynolds of Sioux City; his sister, Connie Adams of Omaha, NE; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nedra in 2016; his brother, Ron; and his sisters: Maureen Reynolds and Carmen Baldwin. Joint graveside services for Ed and Nedra will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10 at Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
