Ethelyn Jean McClain, 92, of Des Moines, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Ethelyn was born May 8, 1922, in Grand River, Iowa to Hurley and Eva (Jones) Muyon. Ethelyn is survived by her son, Larry McClain of Maxwell; her sister, Mary Mae Palmer of Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Dean" McClain; her parents; two sons; and one daughter. Private family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, Iowa. Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
