MAXWELL - Georgia Reynolds, 85, of Maxwell died February 18, 2005 at her home in Maxwell. Georgia was born September 21, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Augustine (Sedlacek) Jezek. She was united in marriage to Rexford Hadley Reynolds on December 17, 1938 in Maryville, Missouri. He died June 5, 1988. Georgia was a farmwife. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting, mending, and crocheting. She was a member of the Maxwell United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Georgia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Dean and Brenda Reynolds of Maxwell, Iowa; 2 granddaughters: Rhonda (David) Birchmier of Maxwell, Iowa, Lisa (Matt) Dunahoo of Nevada, Iowa; 4 great-grandchildren: Lance, Kacey and Trever Birchmier, Gunnar Dunahoo; and 3 sisters: Irene Hendricks of Clive, Iowa, Helen Maxwell of Ankeny, Iowa and Louise Rainey of Lake City, Minnesota. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great-granddaughter; and 3 sisters: Rosie, Margie and Violet. Memorials may be made to the Maxwell Area Community Center and to the Maxwell United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the Maxwell United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Maxwell Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:30 pm Sunday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. The Bacon Funeral Home of Maxwell is in charge of arrangements.
