Gladys Dunahoo Goff, of Nevada died on Monday, October 7 at Story County Senior Care.

Gladys was born on January 3, 1934, near Shipley to Ralph (Bill) W. and Velma (Halterman) Dunahoo. She was raised on a farm southwest of Maxwell in the Loring community. Gladys attended Farrar school and graduated from Maxwell in May of 1952. After graduation, she moved to Des Moines for employment.

On June 10, 1967, Gladys married Randall C. Goff at the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines. They resided in Des Moines until moving to Nevada in December of 1972. Gladys was employed at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada and Ames for 20 years upon retiring in 2000.

Gladys was a member of the 4-H Club in Polk County for many years and the First Methodist Church of Nevada. She enjoyed reading, working with her flowers and appreciated the birds she was able to feed and observe. She lived an exemplary life.

Gladys is survived by an uncle Beryl D. Halterman of Des Moines, a niece Susan J. Bledsoe of Windsor Heights, many cousins and children of cousins.

Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Randall in October of 1994, parents, and brother, Ralph Eugene Dunahoo.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at 11 a.m. at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home, 1418 Fawcett Parkway in Nevada with Pastor Deb Copple officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center.

The family wants to thank the Story County Senior Care personnel and the Suncrest Hospice personnel for the loving care given to Gladys during her relationship with them.
