Jeanette Arlene Beard, 82, of Urbandale, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Karen Acres Health Center where she had been a resident. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Rasmusson – Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Graveside services will be at the Maxwell Cemetery following Visitation. Jeanette was born in Marshall County to Nellie Klar. She made her home on a farm outside of Maxwell with her Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Munroe Moody. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1954 and married Jerry Beard. They had three children; Randi, Sandi, and Ronni. Jeanette is survived by her children: Sandi Boggs of Council Bluffs, and Ronni Beard of Des Moines. Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Randi; her foster-mother, Flossie Moody; her Uncle, Munroe Moody; her mother: Nellie Klar; and her grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maxwell Presbyterian Church where she was a member.
