James (Jim) David Allison, 72 of Iowa Falls, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held Monday, February 13, 2023, at Timbukbrü (819 Washington Ave) in Iowa Falls from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Jim was born June 28, 1950, the son of Robert and Wava (Davis) Allison. He graduated from Iowa Falls high school in 1969.

Jim dedicated 22 years of his life working for Smith-Gehrls construction in Iowa Falls.

Jim loved his children, and you could see his world light up when his grandkids were near. He had a huge heart, loved all animals especially his dog Jo and other pets throughout the years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golf, watching the Cubs play, and listening to The Animals and The Beatles.

Those left to honor his memory are his son: James Allison (Mercedes Vogel), grandsons: Carter, Sylas Jack and Liam, his daughter: Kiylie Smith, granddaughters: Makayla and Jaida, his son: Kody Smith, grandsons: Chase and Anthony, his sister: Deb Steelman and her sons, and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
