John "Jay" Barker, 55, of Story City, passed away December 11, 2020 at his home in Story City. Jay was born May 3, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Loren and JoAnn (Cox) Barker. He attended and graduated from Roland-Story High School in 1983 and attended a Trade School following graduation. Jay worked as a furniture restorer and also worked at antiquing. Jay is survived by three brothers: Tom Barker of Story City, Doug Barker of Ottumwa, Bobby Barker of Ankeny; and several nieces and nephews. There are no planned services.
