Jolene 'Jo" Mary (Lench) Mills, 74 of Nevada, Iowa died April 7, 2021. Jolene is the daughter of Loren and Vivian (Clemann) Lench born June 12, 1946 in Marshalltown, IA. She graduated from Gladbrook High School in 1964. Jolene was blessed with five daughters. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, baking, gardening, her Iowa Hawkeyes and most of all spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Surviving Jolene are her five daughters: Diana (Rich) Van Allen, Barbara (Steven) Oxley, Dawn Mills, Monica (Trent) Johnson, Debra (Rob) Novak, brothers Dean (Diane) Lench, Dale Lench (nieces Sara and Amanda); grandchildren: Tyler (Kate) Thompson, Ross (Audrey Helt) Van Allen, Tayler Thompson, Brooke (Gerry) Bailey, Grace (Trent Coughenour) Oxley, Jordyn Novak, Tucker Ambrose, Sophie Novak, Jenna Novak and Olivia Johnson; great grandchildren: Miya Thompson, Adeline Thompson and Adrian Avalos; honorary daughter, Jennifer Olson and her roomie at Senior Care Center, Rita Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her parents Loren and Vivian; brother Allan Lench and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 11 at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, also at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
