"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone their light remains" Jonah Donovan Woods, age 19 years old entered into glory on Tuesday, August 17th. In his short but impactful life Jonah touched the hearts of so many people who will remember his unmatched sense of humor and mischievous, but radiant smile. It was impossible to be sad when he was around. Jonah had a heart for people, especially his friends and family. A self-proclaimed dog and baby whisperer, Jonah had a contagious personality and to know him was to adore him. As the youngest of 18 children, Jonah lived up to the title "baby of the family" and got away with so much just by flashing a well-timed and adorable smile. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Kim and Gordon Woods of Nevada, Iowa, his siblings, grandparents, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Nevada Baptist Church (210 W. 4th Street) in Nevada with Pastor Dennis Reynolds officiating.
