Joyce Robinson, 75, of Maxwell, Iowa, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

Joyce was born February 24, 1949, in Benton, Illinois, the daughter of Bill and Ruby (Hunt) Beasley. She graduated from Benton High School and earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Ren Lake College. Joyce was united in marriage to Ray Robinson on May 11, 1968, at Pleasant Plaines, Illinois. Joyce worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for many years. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitching and puzzle games on the computer.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Ray of Maxwell, Iowa; two daughters: Tammy (Ray) Holterman of Maxwell, Iowa, Terry Baggett of Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren: Bryan Moore, Jeffery Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Brooke Huckstep; four great-grandchildren: Karsen, Grace Ann, Etta, Judah; and two sisters: Mary Frey of Benton, Illinois, and Jane Jerkins of Florida.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Billy Bob Beasley.
