Judy Rae Rasmussen, born on October 19, 1947, in Nevada, IA, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. She was the cherished daughter of Arlo and Bessie (Larson) McAtee.

Judy graduated from Nevada High School in 1965 and soon after, in November 1968, married Lee Rasmussen. From this union, two daughters, Keri and Lori, were born. Though the couple later divorced, Judy's love and dedication to her family remained unwavering.

Judy dedicated 27 years of her professional life to Donnelly Marketing in Nevada and later worked for 14 years at Wal-Mart in Grand Island, NE. Her passions included crocheting beautiful baby blankets and delicate doilies. Additionally, she was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and treasured the moments spent with her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Keri (Ed) Biebel of Slater, and Lori King of Ord, NE; her grandchildren, Madison Pierce and Dylan Gilbert (fiancée Jasmine Holland); and her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Bentley, Oakleigh, and another great-grandson expected in September. Preceding Judy in death are her parents; her sisters, Veletta Poush, Beverley Boyd, Jean Starbuck and Nancy Haas; and her brother, Darrell McAtee.

Judy has been cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
