Karen Kay Gray, 80, of Story City, Iowa, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada.

Karen was born April 17, 1943, in Mankato, Minnesota, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Enger) Dietl. Karen had worked as a beautician for a few years, and later at Bourns and also Print Graphics. Karen loved to read and solve crossword puzzles. Above all, "she loved her family very much."

Karen is survived by four daughters: Julie Cherrington of Lakewood, Colorado, Kristina Stoeffler of Story City, Iowa, Darci Brendeland of Story City, Iowa, Robin Randles of Ames, Iowa; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother: Bruce Dietl of Pinetop, Arizona.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother: Ronald Dietl.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Parkway) in Nevada, Iowa.
