Karon Kay Ward 76 of Nevada, Iowa passed away at her home on September 15, 2024.

She was born May 20, 1948, in Eldora, Iowa to Lyle and Eva (Sivest) Raske.

She graduated from Radcliffe High School in 1966.

Karon married Mark Ward on May 4, 1996, at the First Christian Church to which she is a member.

Karon was a Pharmaceutical Tech for many years. She was a tech at Tipon's in Nevada and then Parkview Pharmacy in Nevada. She loved working with all of the employees and customers throughout the years.

She loved watching wildlife so we would go for rides real often. Loved fishing and hunting when she was able. She was always searching for new recipes to try and changed to make them her own. She always made family favorites during the holidays. She never complained about any of the hurdles she had to climb. She went out to conquer them all.

Survivors: husband Mark; children Rachel, Chad and Morgan; Siblings Marvella (Dennis), Cecil; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Extended family father-in-law Hayes, Kirk, Jody and Susan.

Preceded in death by her daughter Wendy; mother; father and brother Ragene.
